Blessing of the Backpacks

Join us on August 29 at 10:00 a.m. for the Blessing of the Backpacks service. During worship, children and students will be blessed for the new school year and given a reminder that God loves them. We’ll also recognize all of our educators who teach, guide, and inspire our students.

After the service (approx 11am) everyone is invited to walk through the Preschool for a self-guided Open House and stay for the cookout in the church pavilion. We’ll have games, music, and it’s a time to celebrate the new school year.

Meet and Greet

At A Great Start Preschool, it is our primary goal and purpose to provide a Preschool environment in which teachers and students experience an enthusiasm for learning and accomplish successes. We promise to provide the children with ample opportunities to grow socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and creatively in our child centered environment.
