Attention High School Seniors who are graduates of AGSP:
A Great Start Preschool is offering a one-time $500 scholarship to a graduating senior who plans to pursue further education. The scholarship will be provided directly to the student to be used for tuition, books, or other approved expenses. To be eligible, the senior must be a graduate of A Great Start Preschool, Inc. and must submit the required application materials by March 20, 2025.
In celebration of the first-ever high school graduation of our Kindergarten Class of 2013, we are also excited to offer a special award to one of our alumni from that class!
The scholarship recipients will be chosen based on academic performance, community service involvement, resume, and a personal essay.
Eligibility Requirements:
Current high school senior
Applied to a college, technical school, apprenticeship program, or vocational school for the Fall semester
Graduate of A Great Start Preschool’s Preschool Plus, KinderStart, or Kindergarten program
Application Materials:
Completed application form (download here)
Typed resume detailing education, work experience (if applicable), honors and achievements, extracurricular activities, and community service
A 1-2 page essay addressing the following topic:
How did your preschool experience at A Great Start Preschool shape your elementary, middle, and high school years, and how does it influence your future educational and career goals? The essay may include a favorite preschool memory and your future aspirations.If possible, we would love to see a picture of you from your time at AGSP, as well as a current photo. This is not part of the scoring but would simply help us celebrate your growth over the years!
